Its 10-year forecast for the busineses jet marketpredicts 11,500 deliveries from 2009 to which represents $256 billion in worldwidre revenues. The company also forecasts 12,400 deliveriez in the 20-to-149 seat commercial market over the next 20 From 2009to 2028, Bombardier predicts this market to be wortu $589 billion. “The financial turbulence being felt arounfd the globe has placed a significant focu on the challenges facing theaviation industry, particularlt within the business jet sector,” Mairead Laveryy said in a release. Lavery, vice presidentf of strategy and business developmentfor Bombardier, believese the immediate future of the industry will remaij volatile.
But he said the long-termk future still holds plentgy of opportunity foraircraft manufacturers. “Asx the world begins to emerge from thiseconomicc crisis, demand should gradually returh and future prospects remainn solid,” he said.
