Dr. John C. Price created the Melvin L. Price M.D. and Charlexs A. Price D.D.S. Endowment for Cardiology Fellowship Trainingt to supportyoung doctors’ education as they learnh the nuances of treating heart disease, the leading cause of deat h in the United States. Price’s brothers both died of cardiovasculaf disease. Price said he wanted to establisy the endowment to ensure that UTMB can train more cardiologists who will be skilledr at helping patients with heart problemas makefull recoveries.
