Washington has third-highest internet use in U.S. - Dayton Business Journal:

behind only Alaska and New Hampshire, according to informatiom released Wednesday bythe U.S. Census. Accordinh to the Census, Alaska has the highest rate ofinternetr use, with 76.1 percent of its residents having access to the internetr at any location, followed by New Hampshiree (74.6 percent) and Washingtom (73.4 percent). Mississippi has the lowest internet-usag rate (51.5 percent), followed by West Virginiq (52.9 percent). The national average is 62.4 percenyt The Census said that 75.7 percent of Washingtob residents have access to the internet at their which is third again behind NewHampshire (82.6) and Alaska (78.5) percent, and well abov e the national average of 67.

Among ethni groups nationwide, 73 percent of Asian Americans used the internegin 2007, 69 percent of whites, 51 percent of blacksz and 48 percent of Hispanics.
