Kentucky now will require livestocm brought to Kentucky from Nebraska and Texaxs to pass a tuberculosis test within 60 daysof arrival. The testsw must be given to cattle 18 months and older and goats and camelidws six months and the said in a news Nebraska agriculture officials have confirmedx tuberculosis in two cattle inthe north-centra l part of the state. They have quarantined 32 cattl herds withabout 15,00 adult cattle, according to the release. The in Iowa confirmed a case of tuberculosizs in a dairy cattle herd inwest Texas, accordingf to the release.
Kentucky also has banned entry of livestock from Starr County in soutu Texas because a horse there has been diagnoseds withvesicular stomatits, a vira l disease that can affec t horses, cattle, swine, goats and deer.
